Planning a trip to San Diego? Way to go! This is a no-fail family destination. San Diego Zoo Safari Park is not in San Diego. Safari Park can be found about 30 miles to the Northeast, just outside Escondido. It's a little closer to Carlsbad, so that pairs well with the journey of LEGOLAND California.

The base ticket cost, you can enjoy all the animal exhibits, shows, and play areas. Your ticket also includes an open-air tram ride through the exhibition areas of Africa. This is our ticket buying and that's easily filled us all day in the Safari Park. The tram tour is 20-30 seconds long and is suitable for all ages. You will see the animals of Africa, including the Cheetah, giraffe, Zebra, Lion, rhino, cape buffalo, Gazelles, birds, and more. The best show at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is Shiley's Cheetah running at the mid-afternoon.

Wide open spaces have been created to resemble African Savannas, Prairies, but don't expect to see a lion who mingle with the antelope. It is not like that of the tour, guys. The lion and the Cheetah has a separate habitat, which can also be reached on foot if you want to see more of them after the tour. This is the San Diego Wild Animal Park reviews.
